It’s no secret that Japan is one of the most desirable travel destinations on the planet; full of gorgeous scenery and culture. It’s also no secret that a great many travel goers pride themselves on their knowledge of the great country. It’s time to put it to the test.
Working together with Ogilvy Singapore, we designed an adorable online Captcha-based game that tested travellers’
knowledge of Japan.
Players were invited to select all the right images that fall under the destination flashed on screen within the time given to clear each stage.

The campaign was so successful and users loved it so much that Japan Airlines decided to make Travel Captcha a seasonal activity.
Everyone who’s used the internet has at some stage completed a CAPTCHA security check. Our campaign relied on using this familiar interaction as a way of presenting a multiple choice quiz in a way that was instantly recognisable.
