To launch their latest flavour, Golden Duck wanted their fans to choose. We built a microsite that allowed fans to vote for their favourite classics.
Golden Duck came to us with a wonderful problem – their snacks had become so popular that the demand for new flavours from their fan base was being too palpable to ignore. But, with many options to choose from, they were unsure which flavours to choose.
To address this problem, we built a microsite that cleverly allowed fans to vote for their favourite flavours & ingredients. The leading flavours would ultimately be made into Golden Duck’s latest product. How’s that for customer service…
We experimented with many visual styles for the site & settled on something that resembled an old arcade. Users were essentially playing a game, so brought through elements of neon lights & rustic walls.
We weren't sure what to call the product either, so we asked for a little help from the fans. To proceed users had to name their product with a hashtag that would be considered as finals.
